Ah the summer! The perfect time to plan a trip, take a vacation or just head out after work for a moment in the wilderness. This is the type of moment that Fjällräven lives for and we strive daily to build products that will help you get out and have fun with your friends and family in the wild!
But, we don’t do this alone! Our hometown here in the USA is Boulder, COLO, one of the most active and energetic towns in America. Bordered by the inspiring peaks of the Flatirons to the west, Boulder is a perfect place to test our gear, build our home and stay creative in the outdoors. One of the best parts about being a part of the Outdoor industry in Boulder is that we aren’t the only ones here. One of the leading outdoor, hiking and trekking magazines is based here as well, Backpacker. The perfect read for anyone that is heading out into the wild, Backpacker has for decades been THE editorial voice of the outdoors.
That is why when we are looking to talk gear, we bring in the experts! Both for the technical gear and the outdoor Boulder fun!
This week we opened our doors to the editorial staff of Backpacker and Climbing Mag for a Tech Talk about the amazing differences in innovation for our gear! From Technical trekking packs for multi – day adventures to the perfect pant for the long weekend, we took a long hard look into what makes Fjällräven different and better!
And we also did it with a little fun! With support from the Executive Chef from The Kitchen, a local and national farm to table restaurant who was grilling up some amazing eats on the Primus stoves, to James, owner and mixologist form the Bitter Bar, throwing together the perfect outdoor beverage on hot summer night!
And this is what makes Boulder special and also a city that we are proud to call home! The sense of local community and outdoor excitement makes for a place that is more than just a city, it’s a part of the brand.
So come in any time, share a story about your latest trip, make Fjällräven a stop on your map, we’d love to help you get ready for the next adventure, big or small.
