Built on Experience
In the early days of Fjällräven, all of our products were numbered. The Numbers Series reawakens this tradition, naming each product in the series based on how many predecessors it has. For example, Jacket No. 68 is the latest in a long line of functional and hardwearing outdoor jackets, while Gaiter Trousers No. 1 are the first trousers of their kind with an innovative gaiter function.

Gaiter Trousers No. 1
An advanced trekking pant for any time of the year, the Gaiter Trouser No. 1’s innovative gaiter function makes it possible to adapt the pants to different types of weather and terrain. In warm weather the lower section of the leg can be taken off to turn the pants into shorts, just like a regular pair of zip-off pants. The removed section has a drawcord adjustment at the calf that, together with the boot hook in the leg ending, transforms this section into a gaiter that protects your legs in brush-filled terrain.
Base Sweater No. 3
A soft, warm, base layer top inspired by our grandfathers’ generation, the Base Sweater No. 3 is made from merino wool with flat-faced terry knitting on the inside. It’s perfect as an inner layer closest to the skin, since it wicks away moisture and insulates even when wet. In addition, merino wool is not scratchy and has natural anti-bacterial properties, so it does not need to be washed as often.
