Down to Earth
Using FSC certified, responsibly forested Finnish birch, we laminate each frame, layer upon layer, with water-resistant, eco-friendly glue, then treat with linseed oil to prevent deterioration.

Lab Tested, Field Approved
Comprehensive lab tests have confirmed that the birch frame is at least as strong as the aluminum. Field tests in all weather conditions and climates have our outdoor experts convinced, too.
CO2 Emissions Down 90%
The new frame’s carbon footprint is 90 percent lower than its aluminum precursor, reducing the Kajka’s total footprint by 10 percent. Still, we will continue to climate compensate for all emissions that arise in conjunction with Kajka production and transport, just as we’ve done since 2009.
