One thing that has changed since the Kånken was designed in 1977 is that we sometimes carry a laptop computer. Discreetly tucked into the back panel of the otherwise identical Kånken is a padded laptop compartment. Also added are padded shoulder straps to accommodate the extra weight of your laptop. The unique carry handles at the top of the daypack make it easy to carry as a brief case when the situation calls for it.
